Is a cracker a biscuit or is a biscuit a cracker?

Why are cracker's called biscuits for cheese? When I opened them there was a digestive in there .

No mention of this when you buy a packet of cracker's, but when they come in a box they are biscuits for cheese. I just call them cracker's what about you?

I am of the school of thought that if a biscuit does not have chocolate on it it's a bloody cracker. Does that help?

Crackers can be topped with cheese

Digestives can be dunked OR topped with cheese (dont dunk if cheese topped).

A cracker is normally tasteless, dry savoury which you need to add something to, a biscuit is normally flavoured, sweet and good on its own

If it doesn’t say “cookie” on the label then it’s a cracker.

As in a cheese biscuit, not as in Frank Carson telling you it’s good.
