I'm nearly 50.....groans ! But after reading posts on here about getting tested every so often I booked myself in an had the tests. Never been tested before and was supprised how easy it all was , it did make me wonder though how many people are out there like me who've never been tested.

I'm very open that I visit regularly and on my records I am listed as a swinger so that I get the whole testing, especially the oral swab as I dont use protection for this, only use it for penetrive sex.

She's lovely. Know all sorts about her and her family and her divorce lol.

Maybe it should be a national thing , everyone gets tested at least every 5yrs !

I've been once in my first 25 years. Now i go every 3 months. So easy.

Always read the people who worry about stds and cause hysteria on the net. The only way is to get tested.

My local hospital has walk in clinic and, like everyone else, the procedure is so simple. I too am listed as a 'swinger' on my records and the staff cannot be more helpful and have great advice. Even got HepB jab.

I just wish everyone else was careful about their health.

I go every 3 months without fail. If I've had a lot of meets though I will go every month. No point in ignoring some of the nasties out there.

i go as often as i can as its free and i get free condoms and lube.

they are quite friendly they say if i have any problems at all, i can go and tell them.

There are obvious ways to avoid disease - I recommend brushing twice a day, flossing and a minty mouthwash.

I go to a clinic every three months and the hygienist says my gums are in smashing working order - no gingivitis, inflammation, loose teeth, bleeding or swelling.

I went yrs ago with a mate in brum and she was nervous as hell.......when we got there and i asked the way, they said...follow the yellow brick road ? ...it was a big yellow stripe on the floor which led right to the door of the gum clinic.

didnt feel like dorothy though

Unfortunately a lot of sti's have few or late (as in they don't show straight away) symptoms in men. Or you get symptoms for a week - by which point most women are in stirrups having everything swabbed! And then it seems to calm down...

So guys can be carriers without knowing it. The classic one is chlamydia - practically symptomless for all concerned but if left untreated can develop into something that can cause infertility in women.

So if you play with anyone other than yourself get everything serviced - unlike the garage the lube and rubbers are free!

when i tell my mates in my local ive beem they take the piss and say im a dirty dog..

just tell them i know that im clean if they have had more than one partner they could have something..

the nurse that usually checks me has the same sirname.. she always panics and mentions it... were not related lol..
