I was wondering if any of you ladies use any kind of soap, shower gels or femfresh washes to clean your genitals, or do you just rinse with water?

The Facility

Just a normal body wash to clean everything whilst showering.

Ladies aren't meant to use scented products on their bits. It messes with the natural pH balance.

East London

I wash the outside with Nivea sensitive shower cream and jet wash in between my labia with the shower.

Never use soap or shower cream inside the labia or in the vagina as it upsets the pH balance and causes Bacterial Vaginosis.

Just water here, as others have said products can upset the PH balance....

I occasionally will use a bit of femfresh but usually just wash the outside with normal body wash and then use the shower head for a good clean. Feels kinda good too haha.

Please don’t buy any ‘special’ feminine was products they’re a con, just use water to wash your genitals.

No. It's a self-cleaning oven so just normal soap and water.

Water only otherwise it upsets the Ph. If I use soap it irritates so I just use the shower head, but not when I’m horny

Just water. All those other products are just dreamed up by a marketing executive somewhere to make money

I would say though to all women who are perimenopausal use a suitable moisturiser down there daily.

Well I wash mine once a week whether it needs it or not. Usually on the day I change my underwear

There's some common myths on this thread.

Unless sensitive to any particular product, wash away with whatever you want to, just don't wash the vagina itself.

Most of the products aimed at women are based on making a profit and pseudoscience.
