I watched a programme on channel 4 once where people were obssesed by fairground rides and wanted to marry them etc. They'd go and visit their fave ride and rub up against them and everything.

Think it was a TV series called weird obssesions. People who are rocks and made love to balloons were also in it.

Soundwave. Loved the way he talked in the original cartoons. Or Grimlock as he was a loveable moron.

.

240vAC to 24vDC is my personal favourite. Partial to a well designed USB-C transformer but at 24vDC from mains there's so many options.

For redundancy I use a Lou Reed album.

I never owned one, I has a He-Man kinda boy. But I did have one of the transformer copies, they were a bit smaller and metal, rather than target and plastic (Gobot?) - mine was a helicopter of some sort. I only got that so I could take it to my friends and join in a bit when they played transformer stuff.

I thought a transformer was something you plugged in mains to reduce the voltage to 12v so you can play with your train set lol

Jetfire. Best of the original toys, extremely relatable character in the comics.

Big soft spot for Grimlock too. Great character development. The lengths he went to for the other Dinobots!
