Hello people!

Looking to buy myself a Bluetooth/wireless speaker but I am clueless about gadgets.

Do you have one of these magic sound boxes?

What make is it?

Do you recommend it?

Cheers for your ears

I have a tribit it's insanely good. Really small but packs a punch. £30 on evil amazon. I'll find you a link.

I’ve a Bose sound link. They aren’t cheap but the extra outlay is worth it for the sound quality. I’ve had mine for 7 years and wouldn’t be without it. They cost around £170

Don't take my word for it. Reviewed here at £50 which caught my eye. Finding it on amazon for 30 sealed the deal.

I have a Sonos system in my home.

2 Sonos play 1 in bedroom

1 Sonos one

1 Sonos play 3 in living room/kitchen

And 1 Sonos roam (follows me wherever I want)

I absolutely love the whole Sonos sound system. It’s amazing and links together so nicely

Sonos roam is nice to have as it’s Bluetooth and can come with you.

They are expensive but worth it

"If it’s a occasional mobile device you might want to move around, get one with a battery, the Anker Soundcore 3 is very well reviewed at 4.5/5 with nearly a thousand reviews on Amazon

I have version 2, and it works well sat at the end of the bath, or blasting out for a kids birthday party. Bargain too at £35

I've used Anker stuff before. Would recommend. I went for the tribit on price and review. Otherwise they were very much on my radar.

These are the best. You can save money getting the original version and a Bluetooth USB adapter for £10. The sound quality is the same on all versions

JBL charge 5 - if you want IP67 fully waterproof not water-resistant, very strong bass from such a compact box and also rated 4.8 of over 3500 Amazon reviews. At £119 on Amazon bang for buck - hard to beat.

Kove bluetooth speakers get good reviews from all the youtubers they sponsor, they must be good if people are willing to be paid to say so

Another vote for Sonos. They're gorgeous. And the Roam for out and about.

But... You can't link the Roam with another Roam when you're out but you can with a Mini Rig so it depends if you want more than one playing together if that makes sense?

Snap. Another vote for Sonos, OP - quality is great, and easy to install/use.

If you wanted something portable, also got a little Wonderboom which is great for holidays/taking out with you, and a very near design too!

Dont get one from wish, mine has a woman who speaks when the device is connected or low battery, and she speaks bad english with a thick accent. The quality is alright but the woman just makes it comically novel
