A system like that would to easily abused by people with a grudge. As for fake profiles, report them and they get deleted (if fakery can be proven).

This is always an interesting one as everyone has different definition's on here.

1) Not so obvious fakes. And by that it's profiles that pretend to be one thing but are another. For example the profile is a "couple" but somehow the wife wont attend a meet.

2) No shows. We can respect cancelations or a change of mind as long as you tell us but leaving people hanging isn't on.

3) Not being as advertised. Not common but we've had a few meets where the photos we where sent where at least a decade out of date.

...and thats pretty much it. Maybe others have different opinions but thats ours.

Learning from your experience and creating realistic expectations are fundamental aspects of using the site and remaining positive. Naming and shaming does nothing to help you. To improve the site, reporr any inappropriate behaviour to Admin, then learn from it, adjusting your approach.

Too often people have highly unrealistic expectations, especially as most people are not compatible with most other people. It takes time, communication and deliberation for most of those bad matches to be filtered out. None of that chat etc was anything other than well meaning and certainly not time wasting, as some sadly view it as.

Of course, all parties start with highly charged positive expectations about the prospects of heavenly bliss. With each new message, some tarnishing of the prospects starts. For others, they will get distracted by some other shiny new things instead. It will mean the trashing of dreams for those who were still more keen and motivated. Some of those could think they would fairly name and shame the evil wrongdoer, who seemingly sought to waste their time and hurt them.

Most of us have much to learn here. It should not include any names of those who have failed others, in their opinion.

Fab is largely run using unpaid volunteers. Shaming etc would overwhelm them and prevent Fab from working well as it does now.

Hell yes in some form or another. We've been let down three times now in as many weeks. Time and time again our precious free time is wasted. Then there's those who rudely ghost you or claim great interest then don't log in for weeks . There's also the 'Keep in touch' brigade who never do, always us initiating contact for a worthless reply. This site is getting worse and needs a simple and foolproof reporting system.

In theory yes! But in reality no as others have said it would b open to abuse! I once had a young chap here say he was going to tell everyone on here (don't know how he was gonna do that tbh) that I was a time waster simply because I turned him down! X
