While my mum passed away in 2020, i never had much of a relationship with her anyway, and my half-sister is basically nonexistent in my life nor do i care

I do have my adopted mother though, an ex of my dads from over a decade ago, who became more than just a stepmum to me in recent years

My daughters. I don’t have favourites but my eldest is particularly close to my heart.

Followed by my sisters and mum.

Not the excuse that called herself my mother. unfortunatly shes still breathing, along with the excuse of my father. Not the answer you we're looking for. (Fem)

That would have to be my best friend. My own Mum isn't someone I choose to be around.

Tough one between my Mum and my older sister. My mum I can always rely on for the little things she does but my sister always gave great advice on looking after myself and steps going forward. I love them both dearly

My Mum passed away a few years ago and she was my rock

Now the strongest woman I know is my firecracker of a daughter in law...8st and 5ft nothing but has balls bigger than most men I know. She is strong, she is amazing and she is everything I ever wanted for my son, I adore her

I know lots of amazing women but only one of them is my mum and she's always been there for me and I will always be here for her so it's definitely her

I lost my Mum last month

Next Sunday will be tough, but I am intent on going to her grave and tidying up what I can, throw away the dead flowers and make something of what I can

She'd HATE it if it was messy

This is the woman who, when lay on the kitchen floor with a broken hip, asked my niece to do the pots cos she didn't want the ambulance crew thinking she was scruffy

Anyway, she will always be the most important woman in my life and I don't think anyone else will ever come even remotely close

On a mooch

Growing up it was my four grandmothers, all strong, hard working women who all lost their husbands in their 30s early 40s, but you rarely saw them without a smile on their face.

Now it’s my mum, we always bashed heads when I was growing up and we didn’t form a proper relationship until I was 17/18. She’s the matriarch of the family, always takes on too much caring for others, trying to bring family back together etc, despite what is else is going on in her life. She has always been there when I’ve needed her, allowed her in. Plus she is a fabulous Nanna.

Such choices but I do admire TG with everything that she does and has to juggle to keep life going. She is amazing and yes she knows I think that of her

I really, really want to say my Mum but she lied to me when my Dad was dying, my whole family lied to me. It fucked me up.

So I'm going to put myself out there and say me. I've been to hell and back but I've fought back over the years, and now I'm here, smiling daily and genuinely happy. Make of that as you wish.

Ruby

I lost my mum two years ago so I’ll say my best friend. She came into my life 7 years ago and is like my guardian angel. A constant source of love, support, encouragement, fun and d*unken shenanigans. I seriously don’t know what I would do without her.

I don't have anyone in my life that I think of as the greatest woman. So I guess I'll say myself.

My daughter, age 5. I don't really have any women left in my life anymore. If you'd asked me in 2010 or earlier, the answer would have been "my Grandma".
