Are we allowed to ask a forum mod to post something of a delicate nature which basically asks for advice, on the behalf of someone?

I've never seen that happen on here, but that doesn't mean it's not allowed.

You can ask, but don’t be upset if they say no.

You can always ask someone else to post it, or just post it yourself in a manner that implies curiosity rather than it actually being something you are dealing with.
