I love a good picnic. Name a couple of things you will include, from your favourite sandwich to your drink of choice. I always forget something like the corkscrew opener

I love the frittata suggestion and had not thought of that. Thanks.

I used to get ribbed at work for how much I ate. So I started taking in a wicker picnic basket, set out my gingham cloth for my lunch. Would often include spatchcocked poussin, slices of cake etc.

We love a picnic. We take a table, a nice cloth, linen napkins and china plates with proper cutlery and have a lovely vintage picnic basket.

Favourite things to take are salad, ham, nice bread, fruit e.g. strawberries and cake. Flasks with hot water to make coffee finished it off.

We often have an impromptu trip out with a flask and a cake too, even in winter. It's a lot of fun

We dont need any gear so doesn't matter if we forget anthing or its spontaneous. Not plates, cutlery needed

we're fine with our hands, bhappy to get our fingers messy and sit on the grass. Scotch egg from Treacles of Rugby. A jar of chutney and some bottles of ale. That's all we need. Granted a nice selection of cheese and some scones (with butter, jam and cream) would also be lovely.
