I actually love it. I love historical movies with alternative view. Before watching I read the book, so a bit biased compared to these who just watched

Yeah it basically follows how America was divided between the nazis and Japanese. There's also an aspect of alternate dimensions which intersect and show both the realities of both sides winning the war.

Head fuck.

Intro song is good though.

I haven't seen the final series or two but I really enjoyed it.

Like everyone said:

It's set in the 1960's in an alternate timeline where the Nazis and Japan won World War 2. After the war, Germany divided USA into a German area, a Japanese area and neutral area. Anyone living in those areas has to abide with the local laws such as in the Japanese area, anyone Caucasian must bow to anyone Japanese walking past.

One day the main character is given an old reel of film, the film shows the allies winning the war (which didn't happen in the story), this spurs her imagination and she goes to find if this was real.

Canvey Island

The short of it;

Man in the high castle - makes the films showing a world where the allies “won” world war 2.

Japan & the GGR search for these films

Lady discovers, through the trade minister, that she has the ability to cross over into the parallel universe.

Discovers Nazi’s have also figured this out and built a machine, she goes to destroy it.
