Pescatarian v Vegetarian

So, I thought I'd do my bit for the planet. I would turn my back on plastics and unnecessary suffering etc.

Anyway, during my journey, I decided that buying black peppercorns in a plastic, one use peppermill was no longer acceptable.

So, I went out and bought a mortar and pestle and resigned myself to grinding my own herbs n spices.

Turns out that most mortar and pestle are made from either granite or marble.

Should I be worried about the animal content of these stones?

Yes.

Could be traces of dinosaur in them.

I'm vegetarian and I don't really understand how someone wouldn't want to eat dead animals but is happy to eat dead fish. Both seem un-appealing to me. That said, each to their own and I respect their choice to eat what they like.

This is kinda my point.

But, would you grind your peppercorns in a plastic peppermill or a marble mortar and pestle?
