My dog starts off under my bed and ends up next to me at some point during the night. She takes up two thirds of the bed and gets annoyed if I try and reclaim any of it….

I have four cats too but if they were to sleep on my bed at night I might as well go and sleep on the sofa as they would leave me no space! When I’m on nights I let them sleep on the bed with me during the day

They used to. I'd often wake up to a pussy or 2 on me.

One of my cats went blind before he passed and he could get up on things but not down so after a couple of poop episodes he was banished to the kitchen over night.

The other one has gone blind now and similar issues. She also can't be arsed to go find her litter tray when she sleps so just gets up and pisses wherever she is. She is also banished to the kitchen overnight and when I'm not here.

Bridlington.

When I was very young I sneaked my dog into the bedroom and let him snuggle up at the end of the bed.

As the night progressed he stretched out leaving me in a corner and when I pushed him away growled!

No dog of mine growls at me twice, instant expulsion into the farm yard!

Lesson learned, no dogs on my bed.... Ever!

All dogs smell, dog owners don't notice it but non dog owners can smell it as soon as they go into a house that has them, and yes they do often stink. The thought of fucking or even laying in a bed that animals have slept in makes me feel sick

My sheepdog loves my bed!!!! I have satin sheets though, so have to put a blanket on the bed cos her claws often pull threads out.

She will often start out by laying by my side to my right, then she will sit up with her back to me, then just flop over my chest for her cuddles, honestly, she is such a wet wipe but I love her to bits.

She often falls off the bed too, and she always looks to me as if I am to blame, the cheek

Very rarely do my dogs sleep with me. They won't stay on top of the covers, and wedge themselves up against me, making me very uncomfortable.

They also fidget terribly.

I let them up if I'm scared or it's freezing cold, then change my bedding the next day.

My boy dog makes me laugh though as he likes to sleep with his head on the pillow and body under the duvet.

They sleep on dog beds, on my bed.

My dogs are clean and groomed often. There is no "dog smell" coming from them - raw diet sees to that.

Bedding (mine and dogs) is changed once a week.

I've even asked my extremely honest and blunt friends and family, there is zero dog scent that can be traced by human senses within my home.

I always had my lab up in my bed. I didn't allow him on my sofa but that's because I didn't want guests covered in pet hair when they would visit. But he was part of my family, and he wasn't too stinky and I'd always clean his paws when he came in after being out. I loved seeing him snuggled up on my pillow.
