Our bed's gone squeaky again, happened to the last one too, so annoying trying to keep the noise down. Tried tightening everything up but no difference whatsoever. Anyone else got this problem or any tips to stop the squeak?

Mine is perfectly silent but also sees little action. Maybe wd40 or even a drop of olive oil at a push, just something to lube it up.

It is off-putting when you're trying to keep silent.

Do it against the wall instead.

It’s either the bed or my hips. I can’t work it out

Ours is just fine even with plenty of action . We broke a couples once though when we all jumped on together and became somewhat trapped naked in the middle .

Is the bed metal ?, grease (thick type) the joints and use nylock nuts or non slip washers etc to stop things coming undone. Wood ??, use candle wax on all joints and strengthen/replace weak fasterners. On our child's wooden bed (ex bunk) we added home made felt rectangles between all touching joints, much better

Its a metal frame with wooden slats, think I could try a bit of grease, see what happens.

Staffs

I haven't got a squeaky bed but the head board always seems to bang against the wall no matter how often I pull it away
