That line says I am NOT looking to meet

Yet, I have had two messages this morning asking me to meet

How can you either miss that ONE line or see it and think 'ah well, I'll message him anyway'

I even have it in my header so it should show before they even look at my profile. I still get meet messages. Easily dealt with and I only get a few at certain times so I’m not moaning before anyone has a go. Doesn’t matter where you put it or what you say, there’s always someone gonna ignore it.

I always read the bio before looking at the pictures as if it is not interesting the pictures won't help.

Most ignore it, I get a substantial amount who message and say they have read my profile, then admit to full blown ignoring what I'm looking for and "trying" anyway, like it's not hugely disrespectful.

Yeah that’s what I get too if I reply and say thanks for reading my profile. If I change my profile pic the same people then send the same message. I’ve stopped replying now and just delete. I had one from a couple yesterday who’s long profile text was all about what they expected from messages and who they’d block. Clearly they think they are above reading other people’s profiles though

I think if profiles were kept in memoriam of the dear departed people who were users here, they'd still get messages from the clueless and desperate demanding 'meet now'
