99.9% of women are in the gym for the exact same reasons as men. Get in, get the workout done and get out. Not to be perved on. They wear sports bras and little shorts for the same reason men wear stringer vests and shorts. For comfort and not for the benefit of the other sex. I hope this helps.

The lady you're talking about clearly does maybe she's trying to strike up a conversation with you that will lead to something.

For myself I try to wear underwear that doesn't show under my clothes, I think it ruins the line of an outfit.

Since many women wear underwear its bound to notice sometimes though, in most cases it's just an unavoidable fact

Apologies. That wasn’t clear from your post. I have a 3 gym going sisters who are constantly complaining about pervs in the gym so assumed this was another one of those cases.
