And keep yourself feeling good ? What do you find help keeps the smile on your face and spring in your step ? Apart from good sex ?

My job, zumba, good friends, good food, good vodka. Not necessarily in that order!

I love winter, but do get a little SAD. Nothing major, and it doesn't debilitate me as it does others.

I have natural daylight bulbs in my bedroom, and I have winter hobbies, my OU course, and I also cross-stitch. Things I don't do in the summer, because I'm too distracted by the outdoors.

I'm struggling with it at the moment.

It's bad when I have regular routine in my life. This year it is totally kicking my arse.

I have a SAD light, which isn't helping noticeably. I get out more, to get air and exercise. I'm finding it difficult at the moment though.

I'm a big fan of the winter, especially the bright, sunny cold mornings ....

Even better when there's about 3 foot of snow like we had 2 years ago. I really enjoyed it, going out with the 2 dogs, with my shorts on .. everybody thinks I'm mad, but I enjoy it and it makes me feel good.

What I don't like about the winter is the damp murky miserable days that we sometimes have.

But!

The spring is just around the corner and I wait in anticipation of the new shoots appearing in the garden, new buds on the trees, new life, new beginnings - Now that makes me feel REALLY good

There is that vivid colour, the dramatic sun sets and there is an air of melancholy about in autumn. One of my favourite four seasons

Whose? And only one? If it's for breast cancer awareness, you're supposed to feel both

I really don't like this time of year. I don't mind once it gets into Winter proper but this Grey Damp is horrible.

I just try to get outside rather than moping indoors. Went out and washed the car in the rain this afternoon just to get outdoors

Have to keep busy or I turn into a right misery!

I used to get pretty bad with SAD, but since i took up mountain biking it's not been a problem. I was out at Gisburn Forest yesterday and the leaf colours were simply amazing.

An evening night ride when the frost is settling on the rocks and moorland grasses is great for lifting the spirits, and stopping at the top of the moor and looking down into the valleys knowing most people are simply vegging in front of the TV is ace!

I cope using a combination of music, things that make me laugh and just plain denial.

I guess for me it is also about not wanting to abandon the family... it is innate that sense of "responsibility" preceived or otherwise lol

It is the time of year I need people most. Without them I will just hibernate until Spring.
