your cucumber. I love cucumber and find it as refreshing as grapes or water melon. Sometimes I can eat a whole one or several of the lovely little snack ones you can get. Always keep peel on. Are you a fan? I could ask to keep it clean but it's probably going to fall on deaf ears

I worked in a commercial greenhouse for a while and after what I’ve seen I definitely scrub them clean and then wash them a bit more and peel if you can. Greenhouses are huge and the toilets are far away, you can imagine what the workers do ….

She must have been. I have seen peeled very thin cucumber slices used to create the scale effect on fish served whole on a platter. Not sure where, probably in a hotel in Spain or Greece or Portugal.

If you peel it and soak slices in vinegar they won’t repeat on you. My mum used to do this, but it has no effect on me
