"I’ve heard Keeping mum is good. I usually watch films people know but I did watch Who do you think I am on Netflix which is a gorgeous french film about a woman that pursues a man on social media but it gets a bit obsessive and weird. Sticking with foreign film, Aquarius with Sonia Braga. An absolutely gorgeous Brazilian film that covers so many great themes. " Not heard of either. I shall have a Google later

"Still Crazy - was never huge and no idea why!? Billy Connolly, Timothy Spall, Bill Nighy, Jimmy Nail, Stephen Rea.... 1998 at its finest and well worth a watch! Either that or Marvellous with Toby Jones which in truth in a write up sounds kak, but it is humorous, warm and lovely " Marvellous is great. I have a soft spot for the story anyway as a Keele University graduate. Neil Baldwin was a very familiar sight on campus and it was lovely to see his story on screen

"The God's must be crazy. It's about a bushman in southern Africa who has to go to the end of the earth to throw an item off that was a gift from the gods. The bushman encounters civilisation for the first time. The gift is a bottle that was thrown out of an aeroplane. The tribe found so many uses for it that everyone wanted it which caused trouble. It's brilliant and very funny and very few people seem to have heard of it xx" I've seen that. Terrific little film.

"“A Good Year” with Russell Crowe, Marion Cotillard and Albert Finney is a nice little feel good movie. Another brilliant film that doesn’t get talked about much ( I suspect because it is in Italian and subtitled ) is Cinema Paradiso. " Cinema Paradiso is one of my mum's favourite films. That and Like Water For Chocolate. I've never had a problem with subtitles. I was brought up on old, black and white, foreign films, plus the musicals. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Carousel were childhood favourites. Films are a big part of my childhood and I've been told when my sister was 7 she told her class her favourite films were The Little Mermaid and The Terminator
