They tend to be people with a very high opinion of themselves and if you employ their services then you can be as successful as them. You can probably tell I don't think much of them

I haven't got a clue what I'm doing most of the time. Just bumbling along hoping for the best.

I think I need a life coach.

Although they'd probably make me do things and I already do lots of things.

They can help you un jumble the mess in your head, help you set yourself some goals, work out what's important to you, be someone that will check in with you make you accountable, challenge & question you if your not hitting your goals

Sounds kind of mumbo jumbo to me but I know several people who find them useful, especially self employed people who want someone to sound off at bounce ideas around with but without that other person having any actual say or input, kinda like a personal cheerleader someone to hug you up & give you confidence in yourself
