Best thing about a new tattoo

For me it's the whole day . The big breakie in a cafe ,the banter with the artist,the seeing the design come together , the pain pleasure dynamic and the final result .

For me its seeing my design that i've spent hours perfecting finally coming to life and being a part of me and who I am. Seeing it in all its bright and shiny splendour and the rush of endorphins and adrenaline, and feeling of accomplishment and pride at doing myself another tattoo.

I enjoy the bit where its healed enough to be smothered in lots of cocoa butter moisturiser

Preferably with someone else performing that task on me
