Your favourite supermarket and why

I really would love to know what your favourite supermarket is why it's your favourite?

Mine is Waitrose or Sainsbury's. Because they have brilliant veggie alternatives for BBQs xx

I don't have a favourite. Different ones for different things and also local shops too, particularly for veg, meat, fish etc. if I can.

Co-Op, because they have loads of small ex-pub sized shops near me that are open at good hours, and they are far more ethical than the big supermarkets, treat staff better, have better local community connections etc.

We used Aldi as cheapest & closest. If we just need 1 or 2 things we have a co-op in walking distance

Lidl. As non-drivers it's only a 15 minute walk. I go once a week with my old lady shopping trolley and pick up the tins and bags of things we need. Plus their bakery is good. Most meat, fruit & veg comes from the butcher's and the market.

I use Lidl, Aldi, Jacks and Iceland. I’m on a budget so shop around. There’s a retail park with two of them on near a big Home Bargains and B&M Bargains so I can get most stuff I need on there.

I have far too much money sloshing around so when I am not sending my personal shopper down to Fortnum & Mason or Harrods and I need something in a hurry and dont have time to peruse all the local independent shops such as the greengrocers or butchers, I will occasionally slum it with the commoners and riffraff in M&S or Waitrose.

Lidl, Tesco or Aldi. There is a Waitrose nearby, but a pain to park at. Think I’ve only been there twice. Nearest sainsburys is ove 10 miles away. No idea on Asda.

I live very close to a Co op and find it cheap, the only reason i go to Tesco is because they have a bigger range of food.
