75 Hard Challenge

I've decided that next week I'm going to take on 75Hard! It's simply a 75 day mental/fitness challenge with 5 checklist tasks to complete.

The Rules:

1. Complete two 45 minute workouts everyday. (one must be outside).

2. Drink 4 litres of water everyday.

3. Follow a diet. (No alcohol, no cheat meals)

4. Read 10 pages of an educational or self improvement book everyday.

5. Take a progression photo everyday.

Sounds pretty easy right!? The only caveat is if you miss or forget to complete one of your daily tasks you must restart the challenge from the very beginning

Would love to know if anyone here has tried/completed this?

Admirable, but nuts!

75 days is a long time! I am meeting the woman of my dreams in April and I will be drinking champagne to celebrate, I'm out before I even begin! If we were allowed 1 cheat weekend I would have got on board though! Good luck

4 litres of water?? I wouldn’t have time for the workouts, I’d be permanently sat on the loo!

"2 x 45 minute workouts every day!! Can one be yoga? "

Definitely. There's no rest days with challenge, so low impact exercise like yoga and walking is encouraged.

4 seems quite excessive, I drink about 2 L of water a day (not counting cups of green teas)

But I’d struggle with 4L

I don't think that sounds easy at all.

Lol, from what I've heard the water is one of the hardest parts of the daily tasks.

No, that doesn't sound easy!

Fitting in 2 x 45 min workouts when I'm working 9am-11pm shift does not sound easy at all.

I like the sound of this... Has structure and parameters and is not totally ridiculous in any one area.. E.g you can choose your diet, choose the exercise. I like it!!

Sounds amazing. I’m in Nigeria for a few days but as soon as I’m back next week I’m going to do this. I’ll start on Friday 25th , I have a 45 min PT Session in the morning and climbing a mountain later that day so that’s the workouts and 4 litres coveted. My diet is no snacks, just 2 or 3 healthy meals per day. I read lots educational stuff already , the hard part is those 2 workouts every single day

It's all about holding yourself accountable. For me alcohol or a cheat meal will result in starting the challenge from day 1 again.

Alcohol and takeaways are my vices, it will probably be the hardest part of the challenge for me.

For me it’s about being honest and saying did I keep to my plan or not so the more detailed the better. If I eat any chocolate, biscuits, cake etc it’s a no, it’s a weakness. But 1-2 glass of wine with a meal when out is ok, just not more than a couple of times a week and not a while bottle

I did this and I did the follow on challenges for it to complete the whole program….it’s defo not easy and most days felt like a struggle especially when working 14 hour shifts!

Some days I was standing up reading before bed because I was so tired and you do get weird dreams where you are eating chocolate and if wake up panicking if failed!

But I liked it, the no alcohol was tough but it was quite good learning how to enjoy a night out with no alcohol
