Lemon drizzle has got to be up there. But probably a Victoria sponge. With butter cream not cream. And not loads.

I love cake threads

A warm gooey chocolate fudge cake for me.

I'd not kick a lemon drizzle out of bed either.

There's some good ideas

I should have said it has to be nut free.

At the moment I'm thinking of a vicky sandwich with lemon buttercream

On a mooch

Make two batches of fairy cakes, simple vanilla flavoured sponge, then split into four

With buttercream & jam - butterfly cakes and mini Victoria sandwiches

With icing, made from icing sugar & water to preferred thickness) - lemon cake add flavour to icing and add a lemon segment, and nanna’s fairy cakes with added sprinkles

Eh?! ... 'without nuts' may not be the popular choice on here?! ...unless you're allergic to them
