The reason I ask is my daughter has just got a kitten and called it Archie . Is this a common trait .

There’s tons off crazy ones out there someone in Mexico trad to name they child scotum

It’s quite normal. Not many names that aren’t human names and when was the last time you heard of a dog called Rover for example?

I find it disturbing when people give their cars human names though. That’s just plain weird.

Cats - Mitzi and Coco

Dog - Poppy - but she was named that by the person who rescued her and it suited so I kept it.

I always take time to chose a name that suits them.

As she's an Irish rescued dog I changed it to Tilly ...
