Dating apps are a mix of people some look for partners other just looking for notches on the bed post. But yes dating apps work you just have to out the people that aren’t what you want.

PoF and Badoo are council estate.

Tinder is a new build with no parking or garage. Thrown up in a month and the plaster is already cracking.

Bumble is the suburbs, older houses, better built, more expensive. Detached.

Seems everyone’s different. Bumble by far is the wurst for me because I can’t get over the fact an app handed control of the conversation over to women and all any of them say is “hi”

POF is bad. Plenty of single mums

Tinder is the best as it’s got the biggest user base

Badoo and Facebook dating are hit and miss

I like it. The guys on there tend to be a bit nicer in my experience. Sensible conversations and not straight to dirty talk.

Bumble is odd.

It gives the ladies the power to message first but 9 times out if 10 my matches never even message. Maybe it's just me

Tinder is by far the biggest user base so purely from a numbers game it will be your best bet.

This from a single, 40+ gent that lives in a low population density area. The odds are not in my favour at all.

Used them all at different times over the past 12 yrs, probably for about 2wks maximum at a time. found them all the same, and the same males on them.

Tinder, swipe right, match and don't reply.

Bumble, I've sent a message and no reply.

Pof, gave up on that one.

Tinder may have the biggest user base, but it's the only one I've not had a date from.

It seems full of people either wanting marriage or a one off. Not quite what I'm after, which is probably why it fails for me.

Bumble works pretty well. The women don't feel so hassled and I've had a few meets on there.

Fab has been far the best. Made some lifelong friends, had plenty of experiences and feels more of a community.

I guess the location and what you are after massively changes your experience, so it's worth giving them all a shot.
