Any advice on swinging regret, how common is it to regret trying swinging after first time when in a solid relationship? Or perhaps is it the other way round and you wish you done it earlier and found transition easy?

I think most will say the latter.

I guess most people on here didn’t regret it otherwise they wouldn’t still be here but there’s been loads of couples disappear after their first meet or visit to a club.

We took baby steps all the way and made sure we talked through everything we did and it’s worked out fine for us.

I'm not a Swinger tbh but each to their own , some people regret not trying it sooner , the only way they will find wether they enjoy it or not is by trying it , but if it ruins a solid relationship well then only you and the other person involved knows this , but if you're going to try Swinging either have a partner thats 100% behind it ..don't do it ..or do it on your own , do not cheat ..and don't do things half measure.

Yeah, I’d echo this.

Baby steps. Communication - including making absolutely sure you’re both on board with each baby step.

Also being totally honest about insecurities, jealousy, etc. It’s things like that which can be perfectly natural and aren’t the end of the world, but if left to fester can become huge problems.

I regret most of my purchases off Amazon.

I imagine it’s like that.

But worse.

100%. We went to our first club 4 years ago and still consider ourselves newbies because we’re still taking baby steps.

We’re fully confident in our relationship so we knew insecurity wouldn’t be a problem but nobody knows how they’ll react the first time they see their partner with someone else. Luckily for us we loved it.

Very much as with Amazon purchases, remember alcohol affects your judgement!

No regrets other than we wish we had been less inhibited in the early years of our swinging adventures. We shy's away from things we later discovered we loved.

It can be quite the cycle when many of my purchases involve alcohol!

Better to regret things you’ve done than things you haven’t

If you dont have a solid relationship you should not be on here. You find the ones who meet once and go are either in a rocky relationship and are doing this to try and save it but fail. Or after seeing their partner getting fucked get very jealous and know they cannot take doing it again.

You never said a truer word , l was speaking to a lady , single , who told me she knew of this Couple who had their Married issues , tried swinging but Marriage ended, different things involved but they couldn't handle it , suppose it didn't help when the lady was being fucked like she had never been fucked in her life , but anyway , it wasn't solid enough from the get go to involve swinging.

This is why when guys post saying how can I get my wife into swinging I say don't try, if she's not interested & you push her into something, I dread to think how it will effect a relationship

I always say communication is key, so if you are regretting something talk about it, providing you went into things fully informed just try and look at it as a learning experience rather than a regret, something you were curious about so you tried it, you didn't like it & you don't have to do it again, at least now you know, you'll not be living with the 'what if's' & wondering if you would have liked it

My husband and I discussed swinging for 3yrs before anything happened, because I wanted to be sure we were absolutely sold, we could handle any jealousy's that it wasn't just that we liked the fantasy of it etc

Now we've been here 6 years and I suppose I do regret those wasted years a little but I knew I wasn't ready beforehand, I wasn't 100% sure I believed he was as into the idea as he said it was & I wasn't prepared to risk our relationship over one night of fun
