Thigh length Speedos for swimming in this country and normal shorts for everything else.

Normal Speedos for swimming in France cos dem's the rules in most places.

For swimming is a pair of tight shorts (made by speedo but not budgie smugglers).

I'd feel a bit self conscious and think people would see me as a bit full of myself and mutton dressed as lamb wearing them by the pool on holiday.

I have both. Speedos for serious swimming to be done and shorts at the beach, though Speedos help to tan more as less of them.
