Not a euphemism.

I suspect that I already know the answer to this, but I’ll throw it out to the wider forum for an opinion…

I have been in correspondence with someone for several weeks now. Since before Christmas. There seems to be the necessary connection, although it’s hard to be sure being as it’s all based on fab messages.

Every time a window of opportunity exists for a meet, they disappear. I’ll give my availability for the next week or so and they’ll say “great, let’s do Tuesday”, but then not reappear until Wednesday. Or they’ll say they can do a particular day, but then not come back until a day or two later.

Last night I got a message asking if I was free, after I’d already said that I would be, but they’ve not then come back to see if I responded.

They do say that “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”, but I also appreciate that people have lives, jobs and responsibilities that can’t always be predicted.

Anyway. I suspect now that I’m just being lead along, and it’s time to delete and block. Your thoughts?

Sounds like they're just wasting your time. Delete and block. You'll find someone worthy of your time who will actually meet you x

Last night was, by my count, the fifth time that an “opportunity” was created that then couldn’t be fulfilled.

But yes, I think I’m being played.

I have deleted and blocked them. They can get their kicks elsewhere.

Same I like the forums. Any people I’ve met in the last year or so haven’t been from here. Meeting people here isn’t for me but the forums I couldn’t leave

Sounds like could b yes! That said I said would maybe meet yesterday not definite someone I met sat night at the mid Sussex social but couldn't so made a definite for him to come to me today but daughter was who lives home is of ill today so had to cancel ! Felt bad but was beyond my control! He seems OK with it and hopefully will go ahead hate canceling as don't like ut done to me x
