Do you have any songs that you listen over and over?

I tend to love a new song and listen to it like 1000x till I’m bored

Lol

My current ones are:

- Delicate by T Swift

- Epiphany by T Swift (thanks Mr Gatsby for making me totally obsessed with this song… )

And

- Mystify INXS

What are yours?

Cheshire

I was working the night shift in a well known bakery in Bolton. During my break I got out my Walkman (yes this goes back a few years ) and tuned in to a radio station.

Almost immediately I heard a song that I knew from its first haunting melodies it’ll follow me around for the rest of my life. The lyrics are like a poem to me now and it’ll be played at my funeral.

Chris Rea - Curse of the Traveller.

It’s actually helped me deal with all of the troubles I’ve been through throughout my life. It truly speaks to me and I feel it’s my song.

That’s a good track. I played that album a lot. “Que Sera” always resonated with me.

Well it's about building a mental model, the connection we feel with a song and the way it fits into our lives and the endorphin it releases. There can also be memories attached with it - like once a day I listen to a particular concerto because it reminds me of first violining. I have done for many, many years now. Sad as fuck.
