Just say Hello

Does anyone else just wish that if a user knows you in the real world, then they feel relaxed enough to say hello on here? Aren’t we all here for similar things? I may not be what they are looking for, but if we know one another, then surely it’s cool to chat?

I get that some people have kids etc, but if they know me then they’ll know I’m discreet.

Anyone met people on here that they already knew in real world settings? If so, how did things go?

No I don't. I'd rather they didn't. For the most part my fab life is separate from my home life and never the twain shall meet - I've seen and heard of too many times when it goes to shit.

Absolutely not. I do know people who are on here, and have no desire to interact with them on any sexual level.

Fab life and real life are two different worlds

To sum it up

Fab life club life swingeing life porn life

I am a “bad word”

Out side them in real life I am a nun ha ha

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I've had that happen before and it didn't go well at all.

So I'd rather they didn't mention it.

I can't remember the saying, but something about shitting on your own doorstep or where you eat. One of the two.

I think that applies with merging fab and real life, in my opinion. Just doesn't really go well together.

There are some people on here that I know in real world. I'd rather they don't know in on here too.

No there is nothing I find more creepy than getting I know you messages.

But no I have zero interest in mixing my life outside of here with my fab life.

Absolutely not. Many people still think a woman on here is 'up for it'. I would rather not take the chance.

Ok, so I see it’s a definite NO from people. I was just curious, but in hindsight I think you all have very valid points. I wouldn’t shit myself if someone said hello, but maybe it’s not for the best if they did

A polite smile or nod of the head is fine but I would find it awkward if I was out with my family and someone I knew from here tried to approach us ..

Nope. And just because I may know them certainly doesn't mean I like them or want them to acknowledge me, never mind try to suddenly become friends over a shared interest.

I’ve had two people I know in the real world contact me on here. And the assumption was that I’d be up for it as I’m on here. It felt seedy and pushy. I’d rather be left alone. You do you and I’ll do me sort of thing.

Everyone has a different definition of discreet and they are proving that they genuinely are discreet by not saying hello.

Any attempt to do otherwise would prove that you aren't.

Why should they chat to you on here rather than on FB or WhatsApp or across the office, why unnecessarily chat here

We don't actually know anybody from our real world on here, but those that we have met just socially or otherwise, we'd happily speak to if our paths crossed in a non fab environment.

We'd like to think that those we have met here are adult enough not to sweat it and have a conversation that is appropriate for the environment.

If an acquaintance from real would contact us, we'd probably laugh about it but not take things further.

What goes on in fab, stays in fab is our stance on things.
