Body preference

North West /Cumbria

I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for asking this question. But I need to clarify, that it's only a question because I'm curious.

I seen a thread about muscular guys or dad bod preferences, and the majority all want dad bods. Their preference which their entitled to.

But... I never see a thread of a woman's body preference. Slim, athletic, ample, large.

Why?

I'm just curious so I asked.

There is at least one thread a week normally about preference of a particular type of women's body.

Usually the type of body that they're looking for is stated on their profile .

I don't see why you would get hate. Everyone has a preference which they are more than entitled to have. Its just about being respectful

I prefer a woman with a similar build to myself or a bit bigger. Actual dress size or whatever isn't actually important, more that her body is in proportion for me to find physically attractive.

They happen all the time. Sometimes it's a "who prefers?" and others it's an "appreciation" thread the latter is usually in favour of bbw/curvy, not as many slim appreciation threads by comparison.

Ive not been to one but just going from replies on here. Id guess at a bbw club night those going are all into that type of body so it was a given they were into bbw, same as if it was a bbc night... every woman going would be into bbc hence being there.

Why does it have to be vs ? Personally I always have been sexually attracted to the bigger ladies. But I also like fun bubbly chatty ladies of all types, personality wins every time. But any fun bubbly chatty bigger ladies who dont mind chatting to an old fat oxygen user like me would be welcome, unlikely to happen. But, if you dont ask you don't get

Yes, as a man it would be nice to have a 'gym body'. But it would take up too much of my life to perfect it. I just couldn't be arsed. I see young guys spending hours in the gym, then come into the changing room and take selfies in the mirror. I just think it's a little sad.

In reply to your question OP, I think most don't want to offend.

Women are generally berated in the media for not looking 'perfect' - guys too occasionlly - so I guess showing preference is dangerous ground.

That said, I guess men also feel the pressure of being one body type or the other depending on what was being said.

Sad is right but that's the world they live in , they're young so they don't see it yet , as you age things that stood to you in your 20's start to slow down , it's not called ageing for nothing but those in their 20's don't realise it yet , the day will come when " selfies " won't bother them either .

I think this is a bit unfair. It's absolutely fine for it not to be something that interests you but why is it sad for one man to dedicate an hour a day or a few hours a few times a week to the gym but not sad for others to dedicate most of a weekend day to football, cricket, rugby, etc?

I go to the gym, but I go for me and for the health benefits that go with it. I don't want a ripped body though. A few hours after work is enough for me.

I would have been the same as you a few years ago about the selfies but they have worked hard for it, so why not take them. Chefs, kitchen fitters, hairdressers etc. do it all the time because they are proud of their work.

I don't take selfies but as I walk naked to the showers I always have a cheeky look in the full length mirror and think "fuck fella you are doing okay".

There's at least one thread a week and they tend to turn to shit coz some people, when trying to state their preference, do it in a really insensitive manner and insult those who aren't what they're looking for by name calling.

I hadn't thought about that. But when I think about it that is what I'm doing, in a way, when I look in the mirror.

I gauged my progress by the fit of my clothes and the sizes I can buy.
