I did an apprenticeship in electronic / electrical engineering aswell as studied it at college, when I have free time I like to tinker with passive electrical goods such as earphones. Repaired plenty of expensive ones over the years.

I wanted to go infantry aswell at first but I'm glad I didn't, I'm sure doing that artificer course opened more jobs for you than being able to march at 140 paces a minute

had an ex WO1 that was REME as a tutor on my apprenticeship, he did the full 22. Kept spinning the same dit about how the Apaches weren't big enough for the hangars at the time and telling us he was the bloke that figured it out

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I have bought a 3d printer, so am getting to grips with that at the moment, printing a 1/108 scale liberty ship to fit radio control in, I was going to do 1/76 but the printer bed isn't big enough and too much hassle cutting the files to fit and then putting them back together

I knit and crochet. I have several wip's on the go

I did a class on alcohol markers the other day and really enjoyed ktso will probably start doing more of that.

My sister is incredibly talented and whittles some amazing cute little things! She can turn her hand to almost any craft and never seems to sit still. She's either whittling, basket weaving, leather working, sewing, bee keeping and making stuff with the bi products, knitting, crocheting, tatting (I could not get on with tatting!). You name it she does it! She's got quite the following on insta and is often gifted pieces in makers swaps and asked to donate to fund raising give aways.

A fellow knitter, and hooker! Most won't know what tatting is. I've reserched but not done. Just finished knitting another sock at the weekend, must get the other one started, before I get second sock syndrome.

I do enjoy spinning fleece. My wheel sits next to my sofa. So use it regually. I did spin up 2 bobbins yesterday. Gonna ply it today, then onto the other sock.
