Don’t get me wrong I’m not against all porn. I just think there’s a shitload of really bad porn. The kind of stuff that tends to be aimed at mass market cis het guys and uses misogynistic tropes - even down to the titles and key words.

When porn videos were less ubiquitous, young men and women went into early sexual encounters knowing that they knew nothing. Sometimes their experiments worked, sometimes they didn’t.

Now guys who have been wanking off to crappy porn since long before they ever get to do it in real life go into sexual encounters thinking they are a stud. That some jackhammering, a couple of slaps on the arse, and a moneyshot makes a good night’s fun.

I prefer long and slow, I don’t have penetrative sex that much, prefer a lot of fore play. Even to the point of not bothering with penetration at all. I have found (especially among the younger) that people are trying to emulate what they see in porn films, both men and women. Sex is there for both to enjoy, it’s not always fireworks but if you talk and know what the other likes it can be amazing fun for both. The point I think is that you shouldn’t be a selfish lover.
