How doesn't believe the Americans landed on the moon in 69? And that it was faked.

I'm quite certain that they did

Why would they fake it?

"Why would they fake it?"

More like how.

Look at the advancements in CGI over the last decade, there wasn't the capability to film something like that back then.

Not to mention the Russians, they would have pissed all over the Americans chips if they knew they had faked it.

"Why would they fake it?"

Plenty of reasons as to why they would fake the landing.

But yes, they did land.

With the thousands of people involved in the apollo missions. If they were faked someone would have talked by now. I go by the old saying 'if three people know something it's not a secret anymore' if thousands knew it, so would we.

I’m sure I’ve seen pictures of the landing sites with the remains of the modules and even the footprints preserved into the lunar surface from recent lunar probes .. unless, of course, these are fakes too and all part of the conspiracy!

Yep, fakes! All fakes! Hollow, cardboard cut outs, with smoke and mirrors.

There's also, if memory serves me correctly, a mirror on the surface of the moon that you can shoot a laser at and get a reflection off of.

Plus, there were circa 300,000 people working for NASA at the time of the moon landings, pretty sure one of them would have blabbed it it were all faked

Yeah and bloody impressive, all that rocket for one tiny capsule on the top of it.

We were lucky enough to see the Atlantis orbiter (shuttle) close up, before they started building the new Space shuttle exhibit too.

There is one reason that proves it was real, that is The Russians have never said it wasn't.

To be fair the fact you can go to a shop and by a hobby telescope that is good enough to see human activity on the moon does it for any sane person

As someone once said, there were only two people in the room when Monica Lewinski have Clinton a bj, neither of whom wanted to news to get out yet the whole world heard about it. Absolutely no way a faked moon landing could be kept secret.

Don't forget Birds are not real. The Birds in America were all replaced with surveillance equipment by the cia.

The dude that came up with that admitted to doing so just to see how many people would believe it. And that's how easy it is to get people to believe conspiracy theories.

My favourite counter argument to a moon landing conspiracy is casually mentioning that the Soviets tracked the whole NASA mission themselves too. Seems to stump them for some reason

couple, us we him her.

I am really not a fan of conspiracy theories at all.

However I did read somewhere that the capsule would have needed to be lined with 6ft of lead to protect the astronauts against the sun's radiation.

And their space suit's would be about as much use as a tea bag.

I would certainly like to believe that they did land tho.

There was a recent video ask FX guys to analyse real NASA footage and get them to explain how they would recreate it with 1960's technology.

Using models of various scales and things like lighting, air density, dust rise and fall from the walking and driving (golf cart and crazy golf!). They explained the problems moedlers would have to over come.

Yes there is some air up their, but not much...At sea level on Earth, we breathe in an atmosphere where each cubic centimetre contains 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 (ten quintillion) molecules; by comparison the lunar atmosphere has less than 1,000,000 molecules in the same volume.

That still sounds like a lot, but it is what we consider to be a very good vacuum on Earth. In fact, the density of the atmosphere at the moon's surface is comparable to the density of the outermost fringes of Earth's atmosphere where the International Space Station orbits.
