No, I wouldn’t make someone feel like that. I am generally good at putting them at ease. I think it helps if you’ve been chatting for a wee while, and already know a bit about them before the meet.

No, I feel like it's a chance for a nice conversation with a friendly person.

I have never felt interviewed and if I ever felt a vibe like that then there's clearly no connection between us.

I did have one coffee social that didn't even make it further than the car park. We felt an instant attraction and he very quickly became Mr NBVN

I've had a couple of nice socials in pubs, and I've had a couple of not nice ones in pubs.

I can't remember ever meeting in a cafe for a hot beverage.

One nice social turned into a great evening with me being partially tied face down on his bed. That's one of my nicer Fab memories.

I Have never had that perception.

If you sense that people are lacking in information or are potentially critical of what's been said beforehand, I'd be curious as to why.

Communication is king. Many Profiles aren't great at giving others what they need.

Otherwise, the social is a 2 way street. Lighten it up. Be proactive. Do they trust you? Are you picking the right sort of people to meet?

What's the common theme?
