I am sorry but what is difficult about making some proper toast. Why when you ask for toast anywhere you mostly get look warm bread or slightly toasted if you are lucky. I want my toast well done and will send it back if not done properly. What's you experience?

Fair enough but when you tell them well done surely they should do that.

Not really burnt but a decent colour on it and crisp. Who wants limpy toast?

Often depends on the bread that’s used too OP

People like theirs toasted different ways so I’d be more inclined to say how you prefer it when ordering, rather than risk it and then having to send it back. Although maybe you enjoy asserting your authority in a restaurant or pub

Lol, not really and I do always say unfortunately it seems people have a different idea about what we'll done means. Ps, I always do it politely if I have to send it back

I prefer mine well done too. I wouldn’t send it back however, as I don’t feel that strongly about it. And if I wasn’t clear about how I like it in the first place, that’s on me.

in trying to remember the last time I had ordered any.

most hotels yoy help yourself with the nuclear hot roullette toaster thing. which can be annoying as you cant change the setting and once isnt enough but twice is carbon.
