I've tried this before but find it makes the egg really dry

Fried, with a brick hard yolk. Or boiled with a brick hard yolk.

I know I’m a weirdo, but a runny yolk gives me the boak.

Requires precise timing, still... Moist... But not runny.

I am so awkward about the yoke consistency

I once mortified my travelling companion by sending poached egg on toast back TWICE during a hotel breakfast

If I'm paying £15 for egg on toast, I don't want snotty eggs
