We’d never move chatting away from here. Although it has its faults it does everything we need it to. Even if we’ve met someone we still only ever chat on here.

I would agree, unless I have formed a friendship I don't feel the need to move away from messaging on here.

If people become pushy to message in other ways, to me it's a red flag of how they will respect boundaries in the bedroom. Learnt the hard way unfortunately.

If I actually think I click with someone, I move off the site. I find it's tricky to keep a convo going as messages don't always pop up in order & it can be a bit confusing!

We keep all our chats on here. Much easier for both of us to read through if we want to have a nosey. Your phone isn’t constantly pinging with notifications and you can reply as and when you feel like it.

Oh yes I do hate a phone ping! I'm trying to watch the lost boys here, stop pinging! I turn notifications off on most apps.

I’d never move to WhatsApp or give my number out to those I’ve never met, even then only a couple of people have it. Has to be a different messaging service. If they don’t like that then fair enough suits me, we don’t talk anymore if they keep pushing for my number.

We stick to on here.

I did give out my number and we sent WhatsApps but their profile picture was of their child. Fine in normal circumstances but not when it was filthy messages coming over whilst I was cooking the tea or my kids had the phone.

Yeah we’re the same. I’ve had the same number for about 12 years. I’m not changing it because someone from here gets clingy or doesn’t take no for an answer.

True. But have you ever visited local groups? The spam bots are unreal. I made the mistake of entering one. They had my name on a lost from that point. I get at least 50 messages a day from spam bots sending me crap. I dumped it shortly after.

Once it gets past a certain point we take the chat to Telegram as a 3 or 4 way conversation on here is too hard.

If they don’t want to go on to Telegram then we’ll stay here but to be honest I don’t think we’ve met anyone without going onto Telegram as we all can get a good feel for each other easier (pun intended

)

As above, read the profile and respond showing that the profile has been read and ask questions to draw conversation. Only exchange numbers when an arrangement to meet is made and only for that purpose. If they want to move to kik or whatsapp we block them. Happy to move to Zoom to have a face-to-face away from the rest of Fab. It can get quite sexy that way if we're lucky. x

If you use a special phone with a pay as you go sim then of there’s trouble you can just bin the sim. The number won’t link to your Facebook or contacts etc so we think it’s safe enough.

Thanks for the tip, however one phone / sim is enough for me. What I do works for me, each to their own though and what works for them.

Chat here, If it gets as far as a social then WhatsApp. Cannot be doing with Kik, or the Snappychat thing or the Tiky Tok (whatever that is)
