"I'm feeling more hopeful As in life in general? Or anything particular x Life in general. Less lonely and less weighed down What about you?" I never had the lonely thing. I was the other way round! Everyone was home. I’m used to them all leaving in the morning and coming back in the evening and having the house to myself as I work from home. I really really struggled with that and not getting even a minute to myself. I feel things are starting to look up though x

"I recently gave up alcohol, went back to therapy and began opening up to friends and family. Nearly a month sober and I've honestly never felt better. 40 now and feel stronger healthier and more full of life than I did in my 20's or even teens. They say life begins at 40, certainly looking true for me. Happy man! " That is bloody brilliant! I love this . Go you x

"I actually miss the lockdowns, because you know, people.... Though I did manage to lose one dickhead in the last couple of years so not so bad really. Once you've hit rock bottom things can only get better!!! " That’s true! I actually loved the first lockdown. I loved there was nothing on the calendar, nobody could just turn up at my house, no getting up at half 6, weather was great, loads of BBQs. It was the second one that got me most.

"Life restarted in October for me, socialising again when I can, so removal of UK restrictions hasn’t had any effect on that. It’s good to be back out, laughing, drinking and more, knowing I haven’t turned into a full time hermit or that I forgotten how " Definitely. Took me a while to actually be bothered to get back to normal (socialising wise) but I’m getting there now!

"I'm tickety boo thanks Nora, I have lots of good people and things in my life. Work is a bit of a ballache at the moment, but I've set things in place that should improve that a lot soon. Travel restrictions ending mean it's now much easier to see himself, and we have lots of exciting plans. And I get to be back on stage with my dance family in a couple of weeks, it's been far too long and I miss that buzz of performing...although I'm currently sat trying to finish making costumes for dress rehearsal tomorrow and getting far too easily distracted " If you were ever negative about anything then we know it’s time to worry! . Turn your phone off and get on with those costumes!! x

"Everyone? Like really how are you? Not just the standard I’m fine ta. Life better now there’s no restrictions? Or not much different? Have you changed as a person since lockdown? Interested to know x" What a great question!! I’ve changed massively in lockdown! My life changed completely (as did everyone’s!) and with that, my attitude and outlook also changed. I read a book called ‘who moved my cheese’ quite early on in lock down and I’m so pleased I did, as otherwise I would have approached the situation in a much different way. Where I’ve always been a MASSIVE worrier, I learnt to take one day at a time and not t worry about what other people thought or what the future brings. I concentrate on what’s happening next now rather than what ‘might’ happen. I think less about consequences, not meaning I don’t care about the outcome, but I don’t play every single possible option out in my head. If something feels right and I want to do it, then I will. I allow myself to be much more open minded now. I also don’t allow people to walk all over me anymore. I can honestly say, if lockdown hadn’t happen and my world given a good shake up, then I certainly wouldn’t have entertained being a part of this page or having the experiences we are at the mo. I would still be uptight, stressed and trying to plan out every possible situation and outcome In my mind.
