Fareham

I was in a general shop in Rome and saw on the shelves the most marvellous array of spirits and liqueurs. Not really my thing but I buy one or two for the bottle alone!

My dad was the same with bottles decades old having been tried just once or twice!

Anyone else similar?

Whenever I look back to my childhood my dear old Nan (Gawd bless her soul) used to always have Cinzano and Advocaat in her cupboard. You don’t see that so much these days do you?

That you don’t. My dad had an almost sacred bottle of Drambuie that was never allowed to be touched!

In fact I inherited his whisky collection. Some bottles are over 40 years old!
