Actors that went downhill

Leading on from my bad movie list and was surprised at how many featured actors who were once highly regarded clearly selling out.

So was thinking of having everyone if willing list an actor they believe has done that and the reason why.

Need some names to avoid lol

Not so much because he sold out but Brendan Fraser is a sad story. Loved him in The Mummy franchise

Selling out how?

Just taking any movie role?

Is it selling out, or just taking job opportunities. Nicholas Cage will pretty much take any role put in front of him but he has fun doing it. I'd not really call that selling out. His new movie in which he plays himself but in a whole different reality looks stupid as fuck but actually fun too.

Fallen from grace maybe? But what actually dictates this specifically. Certain roles stop being offered to actors once they reach a certain age. Some want to not be type cast so go for varied roles.

Some just go full on mental breakdown addiction, or do something that puts them in bad favour with public and studios.

Mickey Rourke is one of the latter I guess. Going to need some clarification before I can give names.

More meaning someone who clearly phones it in and is only there to be the name on the box if you feel me,Or someone living of their past glories

Robert DeNiro & Al Pacino.

Arguably two of the greatest actors ever, now all they do is Grandad movies or movies with Adam Sandler.

Kevin Spacey, need I say more?

Would have to say I've seen recent movies with both N.Cage & B.Willis in them and they were bad to say the least , and l thought SLJ was pretty bad in a recent film but worst film that l saw ever was once upon a time in Hollywood, it remains the only film that I've got up and left ,pure rubbish in my humble opinion.

This is niche but Julian Sands. Started well then nothing other than the illuminati can explain his career.

Steve McQueen went downhill in Bullitt. Both downhill and uphill. Quite exciting really.
