You know those people who…….

My nan’s spare room.

You know those people who you meet and they have a smile on their face and always try to see the bright side of life. You know the ones that make you feel they are interested in you and spending 5 minutes just chatting to you is the most important part of their day.

They're the best aren’t they.

Here’s a thought, I know it’s flippant to say but things are always better when someone gives you a genuine smile, and if somebody doesn’t give it to you, then give somebody else a smile and 5 minutes of your day.

Be one of those people.

Oh crikey. I forgot, boobs work easily as well as a smile.

Show somebody your boobs and you’ve a friend for life.

It’s a trite thing to say, but,

I have an innate distrust of people who are happy all the time

Call me cynical but sometimes they've got to be pretending, right?

I'm proud to be one of those people. I smile at strangers in the street (you're not supposed to do that in London) and I make eye contact on the Tube (this is a near hanging offence). One day I'll write a short essay about the range of reactions a smile can elicit. Some are more heartwarming than others.

True, however if they are masking they’re own grumpiness to cheer somebody else up, surely that’s not a bad thing is it. And apparently moods are contagious. I’d rather be spreading a good one than a bad one.

People generally do when I'm around though I'm pretty sure they're laughing at me most of the time...

I’m a smiler generally. Even when I’m a bit down or stressed I don’t tend to outwardly show it. Well not in public anyway. I think far too many people walk around with headphones on or with there eyes on their phone that it is rare to talk to people when out and about as people just aren’t aware of what is going on around them.

Kx

Absolutely yes, sometimes I'm pretending, but if you pretend to be happy or confident or whatever mood you want to be in your subconscious will eventual fall for it.

Plus just because I'm miserable doesn't mean anyone I talk to in the supermarket or at work needs to hear about it and potentially end up being miserable too.

We are naturally atracted to people with a happy dissposition and an added smile or two - it makes you feel relaxed and appreciated

Nice OP Fiddles x

I am one of those people and am also fortunate enough to have those that take time out to ask how I'm doing.

I believe that a kind word and a smile can go along way.

I'll often say good morning to people

That must be a difficult one. I try to graciously accept stuff like that (even if in my head I'm going "query iffy"). Ha. (Although if it escalates I make a hasty escape)

Absolutely, thankfully we are positive folk and love being that way with others. It takes so little effort but makes so much difference to others and reflects back to yourself too !. Tony is often in trouble chatting with girls on checkouts yet they certainly love it too (just not the queue behind him lol). Last time we were in a club the hottest couple in the place came over to sit with us . We were the happiest and craziest folk in the place and it acts like a magnet. Got on so well with the staff (couple) they swapped profile names and wanted to meet up again. No play that night but it still left fond memories and a warm feeling, hopefully the others did too...
