I have decided not to use this word, as it had become a verbal tick to me. I have started using the word hate, when really I mean I really dislike something. I few months ago, my hate list would be quite long, but using my new perimeters, my list is below!

Green veg, except peas.

Soap operas

Abba

Anchovies

Whisky

My mums 3rd husband

My second wife

Religious zealots

The price of diesel

The Labour party (see soap operas)

I will add more as they come to mind

People who are cruel to animals, children or other people.

Racists, homophobes, generally ignorant and hateful people.

Children and young people who commit serious crimes and the system which won't punish them for it.

Domestic violence, bullying, oppression.

People who deliberately stand in the way of the progress of others, just to make themselves feel powerful.

Our government and previous governments. Always on the take and looking out for themselves with no actual regard for most of the population.

Cockroaches, fleas, bedbugs, biting insects.

My ex's next door neighbour.

Bad neighbours in general and the system that won't deal with them.

Irresponsible, selfish travellers (not all of them, just the bad ones).

Having overly sensitive skin.

My tummy.

Cooking and housework.

I can honestly say I dont hate anybody - hate implies passion as you say. The opposite of love for me is not "hatred" but indifference.

On "what" I hate... I d say bullies, intolerance, jugmentalism, black and white thinking, racism and ageism and any other "isms" of that sort.

Arrogance born of ignorance.

Ill or uninformed _iews.

Garlic.

Loud thumping music coming from cars.

People who park their cars on pavements.

Fat, lazy people who stand haphazardly on escalators so that those of us who don't want to become lard-arses can't walk up.

Lazy slobs who insist on driving everywhere rather than walking or cycling.

The "Thank the Goddess that I am a Witch" sticker on the side of the van parked in our road.

Football.

Fussy food.

Neo-liberals and political correctness.

Stressy, twitchy types whose idea of relaxing is to go out for a twenty mile run.

The Conservative Party.

D*unkards.

"Many things but the word 'Hate' will do for now.

I got nuts if I hear my Daughter saying it."

People overuse the words hate and love, they should be used most carefully.

I dislike the overuse of strong words like above more than swear words lol.

I hate child killers.

Small-mindedness

Hypocricy

People who have an over-inflated sense of entitlement

'Reality' television

Emo music

The 'get famous quick' culture that's been spawned by reality tv

The culture of being famous merely for shagging an actual celebrity and selling the story to the highest bidder...
