It was a movie marketed as having bruce willis(of die hard fame).Little did I know that he just phones in every movie from the third one.Effects were god horrible not even in a charming way.Dialogue was so stilted,One decent actor(not willis) in the whole thing,Rubbish story,Rubbish everything

My memory’s pretty rubbish but ones that springs to mind are Grease 2. Shockingly bad and I don’t think I watched all the way through. Also, that Mama Mia one with Cher in it. The first one was cac but the that one is shite. And I’m a massive ABBA fan - maybe that’s why I hate the films.

Hmm good choices and good reasons,To be unfair I think at least half the oscars is hollywood giving itself a reacharound though.Some films wouldn’t be

there on their own merits and a lot is with advertising.

Someone I know described it as “crowd pleaser trying to force things to become classics”.

Haven’t seen the second one but not a fan of pretentious or so called “deep” films anyway.I’m there to enjoy myself.

I agree. It is currently still only a trilogy.

As for my choice, well, I could doubtless pick several films but the first that springs to mind is "Love, actually".

Seen the Italian job remake which belongs here on its own merit notwithstanding how bad it was compared to the original.Butchered everything good about it.

Did not know there was a get carter remake will put it on my def do not watch list.

Now that’s a film I loved (and Mandalay)! Granted, it’s a bit of a head fuck at first to deal with no set, few props, improvised dialogue at times- but if you can get past that quite quickly then the concept that it forces your imagination to fill in the blanks in the same way a novel would, is rather good and you can quickly forget that it’s very different to most movies

I'd also add that the follow up to comedy "Dumb and Dumber" which was called "When Harry Met Lloyd" was quite possibly the least funny film I have ever seen. Did not help that the 2 original films stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were not in it.

The original Spanish film was much better and has the gorgeous Penelope Cruze in it, so you at least have some eye candy if you still don’t like it

I couldn't quite work out the point of Predators. It basically took the best bits of Alien, Predator et al, threw them away and then tossed the rest together in a big soup, and let it fester on screen for 90 mins.

The only good thing was that at least it was only 90 mins...
