I thought that driving to here earlier.. there is about 10 fish n chip shops on this main road alone.

It's an old Viking settlement, as are all the other places ending in "by".

By in Scandinavian translates as town, the piece before "by" is a name, so you are officially in Grims town.

As you come into grimsby it says welcome to great grimsby. The only thing great about it. Is that its a great big shit hole. Worked there many of times. I'd do test bombs on it just incase we go to war.
