I couldn't take it anymore, the relentless and frankly desperate attempts from Nora to get me to sleep with her, polite declines and blunt "no" were not enough to turn her away. So in the end I had to grow a beard to keep her at bay, it was the only way I could keep me safe from her advances.

What things have you resorted to, to get out of an event, or meeting up with somebody (does not need to be fab or sexual)?

I have used “I got the bug” a couple of times to get out of something it haven’t come back & bit me on the a*se yet

Kai, Kai, Kai, the lengths you have to go to. Sorry to read about your bearded state, hopefully it's worth it.

I've never really done anything to get out of situations. Just give the vague "yes, we'll definitely do lunch/coffee whatever soon" and that's enough of a get out.

You did the right the right thing mate,Should go fro anyone if you’re not 100% sure cancel as much for her sake as your own theres one instance when I wish I did.

As for getting out of it only had to do it a couple of times but the worst was when I said “got money on Sunderland,have to dash”,Forgive me my brethren

I could have faked it and just told them I had to do housework but I was worried in case they demanded picture evidence
