"How easily do you place the initial trust in someone "

From a not so happy time I find it hard to trust people especially if they are ones I’ve met online.

Got burnt too many times

As a man I think it is easier than for a female especially on here as it goes withou saying single ladies are more vulnerable to negative experiences.

But for me I still find it a little unsettling and that is as a quite well built man who can look after myself.

What I would recommend would be to get to know the individual have a social meet first. Try to judge their character a little before pleasing ultimate trust in them.

I don't know if it helps but that would be my advice.

Good look and stay safe

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Depends who, what the context and relationship are and what I'm trusting them with.

Trusting them with my heart it usually takes a while. But there has been an exception.

Trusting what they say, depends what it is and usually takes a while.

Trusting them with my possessions, hell, why not. It is just stuff.

But I don't trust anyone to make me peanut butter toast. Because they'll never get it right.

Not at all easily these days after a bad experience with a compulsive lying cockwomble. I won't meet privately as a result of that. I know all men aren't the same, but it still stings.

Worthing

Having experienced many people who I thought were friends...but actually were not, it does take me a long time to trust someone.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Slowly especially on here. Too many too free with others personal info and pics to trust anyone on here from the start.

In real life I will trust someone up to a point to start then it depends on how they act after that.

I do have people I trust completely and they are worth their weight in gold because of that. That includes someone on here .

On a mooch

Not easy at all

With some people you just know you can from how they conduct themselves from the get go. Just as some will be ‘never in a month of Sundays’. ! Then there’s the middle roaders, you trust them with some things but nothing personal.

I trust my gut instinct, it’s rarely wrong.

I do this. Trust them with information you don't mind being shared and only give them 1 chance to break that trust

I need to place some sort of trust initially then build a relationship from that

Unfortunately this backfires far too often.

Trust is something that needs to be earned. In the past I was way too trusting and forgiving and people took advantage of that.

Depends what I'm looking for, I don't always need trust. But I do need some kind of spark or connection, that's different to trust.

Trust for me is like respect. You don’t have to earn it, you have it, right up until you lose it.

Depends why I need to trust them.

Usually trust develops naturally over time but I can be guilty a suspicious mind that is easily sparked and difficult to defuse.

Relatively easily I think. I start off assuming most people are decent and wait to be shown otherwise. I am learning not to overshare too soon though, just incase.

I love that attitude. I’m happy to be wrong about people but no one needs to earn trust , it’s a given.

I'm usually quite guarded, and if I let someone in its because I feel its right. And then I'm usually wrong . I'd say live and learn but I never do

As soon as you joined the site. If you think your profile and pics and videos cant be copied and sent without your consent and would never find their way outside of the site your trusting anyone that sees your profile. I work on the assumption that anything I upload or say could be copied and sent to my Facebook friend list. Unlikely....but it could. I'm lucky, and Worst case scenario of my profile getting exposed is my parents die of heart attack, friends surprised, take the piss for a day then move on and few mates send me their usernames as they are on there. If you being fucked in a car park in Scunthorpe by local rugby team and some lorry drivers would get you fired from your headteacher job....don't video it and have it on your profile
