I don't particularly want compliments. I just feel uncomfortable with them. But I've tried really hard to give them often to men I am seeing. So they know I find them attractive. And think of themselves as attractive. I've had to push myself to do it as you're right - it doesn't come naturally for some woman. I give compliments to my boys as well.

I don't think it has to even be certain words. Sometimes I just grab him and "mmmm" at him . I've also been known to tell him when he looks particularly hot in certain positions. I often comment that a particular top or jumper brings out their eyes. Or trousers highlight something appealing. It's not terror, more surprise I would say as I suspect the very large majority of men don't hear it often and when they do it's a surprise.
