"Generic over the counter medicines. Look at the active ingredients in your preferred brand and find the own brand with the same active ingredient. If the PL number on the generic box is the same as on the branded box then it is exactly the same product made by exactly the same company! Even if the product licence for the generic is different the active ingredient is the same, though from a different manufacturer. To get a product licence the manufacturers have to prove bioequivalence." You seriously need to stop watching Martin Lewis

"Iv just swapped from dewalt tools too the erbauer ones with the 2 year warranty, for anyone in the construction industry to be fair, so far so good" DeWalt themselves are just a rebrand of Black and Decker. The trade grade Makita tools do justify the greater expense as they last a lot longer. Anything less that professional and you're just as well with ones you've mentioned.

"Tap water is just as good as bottled water No it’s not. Bottled water is usually natural spring water. Tap has chemicals added to it, it doesn’t taste nice " All tap water tastes different depends what part of the country you live in and all bottled water tastes differently for the same reasons some of the French ones taste like crap. Generally only drink tap water can’t see why you would spend out on bottled water

"Garage services. Unless still under warranty, get car servicing from a reputable local garage rather than brand dealer. Also cost savings. Even under warranty you should be able to do this as long as they use genuine parts Fair comment unless car purchased from a dealer." Nope! There is no legal requirement to use a main dealer to service a car to maintain the warranty. You just need to prove it has been serviced to manufacturers requirements.

"Audi a6 and skoda superb basically the same car only the skoda is far cheaper " The Mk1 Superb was based on the extended Passat platform used for the longer wheelbase China only Passat. The Mk2 did indeed share the platform of the Audi A6 of that generation. The latest model is yet another iteration of the VAG MBQ platform which, strictly speaking, is shared technology rather than a shared platform. All VAG products share components from major to minor, with each brand essential adding it’s own style, brand, and market position to the mix.
