Instead of all of this fighting, why can't world leaders just slug it out in the boxing ring. Winner takes all and no need for bloodshed. Boris v Putin

Who would win?

Fair enough I would totally accept the conquest of an oppressive foreign regime because the Prime Minister lost a match against the leader of a hostile state.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Chances are there would still be bloodshed. Just a lot less.

"Putin. He’s a black belt "

Come on now you know Putin's black belt has nothing to do with it. Who needs a black belt when your opponent is Boris "bumbling jizz head" Johnson.

Putin has sparred in the past with both Klitschko brothers and is no stranger inside the ropes

Boris isn’t fit to carry his water bottle

There is a growing group of people Stateside that do just that called Beefstreets

If you have a beef with your neighbour or someone it is taken around the back into a makeshift boxing ring and they go toe to toe

Designed to take the guns off the street.

With all due respect, BJ was suckibg up to Putin like many populists in the West. Londongrad didn't happen in a day.

Not sure it counts when it's a bizzare rugby tackle on a 10 year old boy in Japan.

Not just Boris to be fair, I think almost all heads of governments and countries would not be much of a match for Putin one on one

There was a king of Uganda called Idi Amin. He was also the Ugandan Heavy Weight Champion. No one would dare beat him in the ring.

It could of been phrased better. Not sure why Japan was mentioned. The sentence could of said, 'a ten year old boy'

That aside it was a good tackle and Boris would be a handful in the ring..

Why could it? He rugby tackled a 10 year old boy in Japan. In Tokyo in fact. I included the location.

Well Tom saw a post the other day where the poster mentioned why a Big Issue seller was referred to as Romanian.

The country of birth had little to do with the story and it made Tom think..

I didn't refer to the country of birth nor nationality of the boy. He may have been an American living in Japan. He may have been of Japanese nationality but both parents were from Africa. He may have been Mexican and on holiday in Japan.

I merely mentioned the location of which the event took place.

I think if I saw a man wearing a black belt and riding a horse towards me, shirtless, I’d expect things to get a bit tasty.

Boris? Getting a comb out to do his hair and straightening his tie doesn’t really quite hit the “shit’s about to go down” levels for me.

So I stick by my original claim. Controversial though it may be!
